Up above in the header, it says Edward Farber. That’s the name my folks gave me. In elementary school, chums called me Eddie. But mostly, I’m called Ed.
I always had a yen for writing. My first published stuff was in a college literary mag, The Harris Quarterly. When I look at the stories now, they do seem rather sophomoric. But that’s OK. I was a sophomore when I wrote them.
My other passion was art, and I wasn’t too bad. I decided to find a profession in which I could use both art and writing. I ended up in advertising, as a copy writer/layout artist, creative director and, finally, as an advertising agency owner. But before that, I did a lot of other things: sold shoes, trimmed windows, worked as a radio disc jockey, served as an officer in the U.S. Airforce, taught at Webster University, and later taught art classes. I toiled away in the ad agency business for nearly four decades. All that time, I continued to write fiction after hours and to paint (you can see my artwork at https://Edward-Farber.pixels.com.
After I left the world of business, I concentrated on my two loves, writing and painting (with full knowledge and approval of my ultimate love, wife Marilyn).
That’s enough background material. If you’ve reached
